Summer Splash and Christmas Event Coming soon

  Beautiful Awakening outreach Mission Operation Handmade Blessing had a wonderful successful time at the Nursing Home Summer Splash.  The residence had a wonderful time.  Thanks to everyone who showed up from my local Church Home People of Hope Ministries!  Also to one of my Co-Workers who gave her time and great efforts to assist us.  Here are some pictures from the event.  We are getting prepared for our Christmas outreach for the Elderly at our local Nursing Home and each year has been a success.  This is my third year giving gifts and it started out with me just making a few items for my few favorite ladies that loved fashion and then it expanded to giving gifts to all those that love to come out to our bible studies and also to those that can't come out of the rooms we spread the love to them also.  We are now taking donations for our Christmas  outreach.  We will be going out again to give gifts handmade gifts  on December 21st at 2pm.  Donations are open from August 11th - December 15th.  Please have all items mailed to me by December 15th.  It usually takes me about 5 days to get everything bagged and ready to go.  This is  wonderful for those of you who make handmade items like crochet hats, cards, brooches, handmade frames,  crochet lap blankets,  word search puzzles, altered items like wooden  jewelry boxes, handmade Jewelry,  bookmarks, stationary, wheelchair bags and much more.  Please click on the accepted items tab to get an idea of things we can bless the elderly with.  I am really excited about this years event and please send an e-mail of you have any questions to beautifulawakening28@gmail.com. Summer Outreach

It’s that time again for Operation Handmade Blessing Community Charity Day.  We are going to have a Summer Splash over at :

 

Ybor City Health Care & Rehab

 

Date: August 10^th, 2013

Time:  2:00pm – 3:00-3:30pm
Location:  1709 N Taliaferro Ave, Tampa, FL 33602

 

We will be spending time with those in need or love and care at the  Nursing Home.  We will be  doing nails,  having games with the men like Dominoes, Chess, maybe even small gifts.  If you love to hand make items and would love to make a few items or an item or two for our elderly it will be appreciated. Also if you like to donate sweater, hats, socks, please let me know.  If you can make it you can still donate if it is on your heart to.  This is always a fun and joyful time as we bless those that don’t have family and friends to spending time or show them love and care.  Please let me know if you would like to be a part of this event.  We will have games like Bingo, Dominoes, dong nail painting for the women, talking with them, praying with them, listening to stories and craft projects!  you don't want to miss this wonderful event!
